Challenges and God-given blessings in Samoa
3 July
Some of the team members vomited, had diarrhea, and were lethargic due to acclimatization, making everyone very nervous and worried.
Another child vomited on the way out of the city and the child's father had to take him back to the camp to rest, while the other team members continued their journey to the city. The three children fell ill one after another. As a mother, she couldn't help but shed tears of worry…
"How are the three children today?" The leader who returned to the camp at the end of the day asked the father of the children with great anxiousness…
"I'm very grateful. I didn't expect God to give us such a good time. We finally had time to have a good talk. They played cards together, and before we knew it, it was evening…I am very grateful to God for giving us such precious family time!" The children's father answered us in this way.
They can grumble that things are not going well. However, I have witnessed how the father, the head of the household, used his life to live an example of "giving thanks in all circumstances" to his children.
Although we are in a difficult environment; the hot weather, a place that is not easy to maintain cleanliness, a diet that cannot be simpler and all the team members had to face struggles at the start of their trip, when we face the adversities and experienced breakthroughs in prayers together, there will be no obstacles that can stop us!
What shall I render to the Lord for all his benefits to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord, I will pay my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people.
Please pray for us to break through all difficulties as we prepare for the Children and Youth Camp from 7-17 July!
